Fayette County driver blames two other motorist for injuries

Car accident 06

FAYETTEVILLE — A Fayette County driver is suing two other motorists, alleging their negligence caused a crash that injured the plaintiff.

Justin Garrison filed a complaint April 17 in Fayette Circuit Court against Gerald Jennings and Virginia Gray, alleging they failed to maintain proper control of their vehicle.

According to the complaint, on July 9, 2015, Garrison was seriously injured when a car, driven by either Jennings or Gray, negligently attempted a complete left to right turn in front of the plaintiff's vehicle and the two cars collided on Main Street in Oak Hill.

The suit says Garrison sustained injuries that caused him to suffer pain and suffering, lost wages and medical expenses. The plaintiff alleges Jennings or Gray failed to yield right of way and carelessly traveled into the opposing lane that was properly occupied by Garrison.

Garrison seeks trial by jury, compensatory and punitive damages, attorney fees, court costs and expenses and all other just and appropriate relief. He is represented by attorneys Robert D. Cline Jr. and Brian E. Bigelow of Farmer Cline & Campbell PLLC in Beckley.
