LOGAN — A broadcasting company is suing a tax service, alleging breach of a repayment agreement and unjust enrichment.

Logan Broadcasting Corporation filed a complaint April 24 in Logan Circuit Court against Brenda Sipple Inc., doing business as Jackson Hewitt Tax Service, alleging failure to perform its obligations under the contract.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 21, 2015, Jackson Hewitt entered into a repayment agreement contract to repay its unpaid advertising of $1,620 to Logan Broadcasting. The suit says this amount remains due and unpaid.

Logan Broadcasting seeks trial by jury, payment for unpaid advertising, attorney fees, court costs and all other just and equitable relief. He is represented by attorneys Steven S. Wolfe and J. Christopher White of Wolfe, White & Associates in Logan.
