WINFIELD — A Kanawha County man is suing physicians, alleging negligence led to the death of his wife.

Rudolph W. Lee Jr., administrator of the estate of Patricia Lee, filed a complaint May 15 in Putnam Circuit Court against Dr. John M. Clark  and John M. Clark M.D. & Associates, PLLC, alleging they failed to provide proper medical care to Patricia Lee.

According to the complaint, Patricia Lee suffered serious physical heart-related injuries that caused her death. The plaintiff alleges Clark failed to recognize his own professional limits and failed to refer Patricia Lee to a cardiologist. She died July 10, 2015, after suffering cardiac arrest, the suit says

Rudolph Lee seeks trial by jury, damages sufficient to compensate the plaintiff, and any other relief the court deems just. He is represented by attorneys Tony L. O'Dell and Cheryl Fisher of Tiano O'Dell, PLLC in Charleston.
