WHEELING — Travelers Insurance is suing a transport company, alleging breach of an insurance contract.

Travelers Property Casualty Company of America filed a complaint May 18 in Ohio Circuit Court against Roughcut LLC, alleging that the transport company failed to fulfill its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, between 2014 and 2016, Travelers issued its worker's compensation insurance policies, naming Roughcut as the insured. To date Roughcut's balance of $48,317 remains due and owing.

The plaintiff alleges Roughcut has failed and refuses to make payments for all earned premiums due the plaintiff.

Travelers seeks trial by jury, judgment for $48,317, plus interest, costs of suit and all other equitable relief. It is represented by attorney John R. Keating of Amato, Keating and Lessa PC in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
