WHEELING — A Wheeling roofing contractor is suing a building owner, alleged breach of a project agreement in failing to pay.

Kalkereuth Roofing and Sheet Metal Inc. filed a complaint May 19 in Ohio Circuit Court against Century Equities Inc. alleging failure to fulfill its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, Kalkereuth supplied and installed an Elastometric membrane roof coating for the defendant and demolished and installed roofing curbs at the defendants' building in Parkersburg, West Virginia. After credits for payments, the suit says, the amount of $56,495.10 remains due.

The plaintiff alleges Century Equities has failed to make payments for the remaining balance.

Kalkereuth Roofing and Sheet Metal seeks trial by jury, damages totaling $56,495.10, plus interest, court costs and all other just and reasonable relief. It is represented by attorneys Denise Knouse-Syder and Jeffrey D. Kaiser of Phillips, Gardill, Kaiser & Altmeyer PLLC in Wheeling.
