CHARLESTON — A former employee is suing the West Virginia Regional Jail & Correctional Facility Authority and Trinity Services Group Inc. for alleged sexual harassment, violation of civil rights and wrongful termination.
Samantha Dicken filed a complaint on May 26 in the Kanawha Circuit Court, alleging that the defendants terminated her employment in retaliation for reporting that she was sexually harassed at work.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she suffered damages from being sexually harassed by two male employees during her employment. After she reported the alleged harassment, she claims that she was wrongfully accused of "passing out cigarettes" and then fire. The plaintiff holds the defendants responsible for allegedly terminating her employment in retaliation for complaining about the harassment.
The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks all damages, punitive damages, lost wages, all other damages, all legal fees and any other relief this court deems just. She is represented by Maria W. Hughes and Mark Goldner of Hughes & Goldner PLLC in Charleston.
