WHEELING — A Wheeling motorist is suing Auto Club Insurance, alleging breach of an insurance contract.
Stephanie Campbell filed a complaint May 31 in Ohio Circuit Court against Auto Club Property Casualty Insurance, alleging failure to perform its obligations under the contract.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, in June 1, 2015, Campbell was injured in a vehicular accident in Wheeling caused by the negligence of Donald A. Junkins, an under-insured motorist. Campbell says she is legally entitled to recover from Auto Club defendant damages of more than $50,000.
The plaintiff alleges Auto Club Insurance has refused to tender the under-insured motorist benefits due and owing to Campbell.
Campbell seeks trial by jury, judgment for the $50,000 under-insured motorist coverage benefits, plus legal interest, court costs, expenses and all other compensatory damages. She is represented by attorneys Scott S. Blass and John E. Artimez of Bordas & Bordas PLLC in Wheeling.
