WHEELING — A Wheeling man is suing Lowe's Home Center and contractors, alleging their negligence caused injuries to the plaintiff.

Ronell Green filed a complaint June 1 in Ohio Circuit Court against Lowe's Home Center LLC, Above Code Contracting & Property Management LLC and John Doe, alleging that they failed to provide a safe place to work.

According to the complaint, on June 3, 2016, Green was severely and permanently injured while working for a Above Code at a Lowe's in Wheeling when he was struck in the mouth and face by a metal fencing, leading to severe and permanent injuries. Green says he has sustained pain and suffering, emotional distress and incurred medical expenses.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants negligently allowed the existence of a dangerous and hazardous condition in the workplace.

Green seeks trial by jury, compensation in excess of the minimum jurisdictional limits of the court, plus interest and all other just and proper relief. He is represented by attorneys Vincent S. Gurrera of Gurrera Law Office PLLC in Weirton, and by Alex Risovich of Risovich Law Offices PLLC in Weirton.
