HUNTINGTON – Two people are suing a car dealer, citing alleged breach of contract.

Amanda N. Davis and Willie E. Phillips filed a complaint June 7 in the Cabell Circuit Court against Big Blue Motor Sales Preowned LLC, alleging the car dealer sold a defective vehicle to them.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they suffered damages from purchasing a 2012 Kia Sedona with defects, including engine sludge. The plaintiffs hold Big Blue Motor Sales Preowned responsible because the defendant allegedly knew about the defects of the vehicle but failed to provide adequate repair.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant in an amount that exceeds the minimum jurisdiction of this court, all legal fees, interest and any other relief this court deems just. They are represented by J. William St. Clair of Legal Aid of West Virginia in Huntington.
