NEW CUMBERLAND — A Weirton man is suing Honda, alleging breach of warranties and guaranties.

Eric Mankowski filed a complaint June 5 in Hancock Circuit Court against American Honda Motor Co. Inc., alleging failure to meet promised specifications.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges on Feb. 25, 2015, Mankowski purchased a new 2014 Acura RLX at a Honda dealer in West Virginia for $60,178.43. After purchase, Mankowski says, he experienced serious defects with the Acura that substantially impaired its use, value and safety.

The plaintiff alleges American Honda failed to make repairs in a good and workmanlike manner to conform the vehicle with its warranties.

Mankowski seeks trial by jury, recision of acceptance, actual, consequential and /or incidental damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees, court costs and all other general and appropriate relief. He is represented by attorney Christina Gill Roseman of Roseman Law Firm PLLC in Pittsburgh.
