NEW MARTINSVILLE — An Ohio rental equipment provider is suing a piping business, alleging breach of a contract and guaranty agreement.

B.E.T. Ltd., doing business as Bridgeport Equipment & Tool, filed a complaint June 5 in Wetzel Circuit Court against Mannon Pipeline LLC and Richard D. Mannon, alleging they failed to perform their contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, in November 2016, Mannon Pipeline entered into a contract with Bridgeport Equipment for the rental of equipment and the purchase of various items on credit. The suit says the balance of $26,886.76 remains due and the defendants have failed to make payments for the invoiced amount.

Bridgeport Equipment & Tool seeks trial by jury, judgment for the unpaid invoice of $26,886.76, plus legal interest, costs of court, and all other appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Gerald E. Lofstead III of Spilman, Thomas & Battle PLLC in Wheeling.
