Equipment rental company alleges logistic business owes more than $32,000

NEW MARTINSVILLE — An Ohio equipment rental company is suing a logistics business and a guarantor, alleging breach of a rental agreement and guaranty in owing more than $32,000.

B.E.T. Ltd., doing business as Bridgepoint Equipment & Tool, filed a complaint June 14 in Wetzel Circuit Court against Crescent Services LLC and Jeff Mosher, alleging failure to to pay the rentals and repairs for equipment.

According to the complaint, , beginning February, Crescent rented various equipment from Bridgepoint. During the pendency of the rentals, the suit says, Crescent caused damage to a number of pieces of equipment. 

To date, the lawsuit states, the amount owed by the defendants for the rentals and repairs is $32,291.11. The plaintiff alleges the defendants have been in default and unwilling to make payments for the rental and repairs of the damaged equipment.

Bridgepoint Equipment seeks trial by jury, judgment for $32,291.11, plus legal interest, costs of suit and all other appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Gerald E. Lofstead III of Spilman Thomas & Battle PLLC in Wheeling.
