Contractor alleges construction companies owe $8,000

WINFIELD — A Putnam County contractor is suing construction companies, alleging failure to pay more than $8,000.

John Flora, doing business as Flora's Concrete Contracting, filed a complaint June 14 in Putnam Circuit Court against G. & G. Builders Inc. and CNE Poured Walls, alleging they failed to fulfill their contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, Flora' Concrete provided materials and services to the defendants in 2014. The sum of $8,048.55 remains due and owning, the suit says, and the defendants have failed to pay the amount owed to the plaintiff.

Flora's Concrete Contracting seeks trial by jury, judgment of $8,048.55, costs of court, attorney fees and all other general and appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Lisa M. Moye of Winfield.
