Car accident 16

RIPLEY – A Wood County couple has filed suit against a Kanawha County man after a collision on Interstate 77 in Jackson County.

Michelle Young and Michael Young filed a complaint on July 3 in the Jackson Circuit Court against LB & B Associates Inc. and Jeremy Hayes

According to the complaint, on Oct. 17, 2016, Michelle Young sustained serious physical injuries when Hayes, driving a LB & B Associates vehicle, crossed the center line on Interstate 77 and struck Young's vehicle.

The plaintiffs hold LB & B Associates Inc. and Hayes responsible because the defendants allegedly negligently, carelessly and unlawfully operated the vehicle.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek compensatory damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees and other relief as the court may deem proper. They are represented by Kelly J. Guice and Jan Dils of Jan Dils, Attorneys at Law in Parkersburg. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Lora Dyer.
