Woman alleges injuries after fall at Red Lobster restaurant

HUNTINGTON – A Cabell County woman alleges that she was injured when she slipped and fell in a restroom at a Huntington restaurant.

Brenda Lemaster filed a complaint July 10 in Cabell Circuit Court against Red Lobster, Red Lobster Hospitality LLC and Red Lobster Management LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that she was at defendants' Red Lobster restaurant in Huntington when she was severely injured when she slipped and fell on standing water on the floor of the restroom. She alleges suffered great pain and was required to be transported to a medical clinic to be treated. 

The plaintiff holds Red Lobster, Red Lobster Hospitality LLC and Red Lobster Management LLC responsible because the defendants allegedly failed to maintain the restroom floors clean, dry and free from hazardous conditions.

The plaintiff seeks damages in an amount to be determined by the court, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs of this action and such other just and fair relief. She is represented by Paula L. Harbour of Paula L. Harbour Attorney At Law PLLC in Huntington. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Alfred E. Ferguson.
