WINFIELD – A lawsuit has been filed against The Law Office of G. Wayne Van Bibber for failure to repay more than $3,000 for goods and services.
Matthew Bender and Company provided goods, funds or services to Van Bibber in the amount of $3,767.27, according to a complaint filed May 25 in Putnam Circuit Court.
The defendant has not repair funds or services provided, according to the suit.
In its answer and affirmative defenses and counter claim, Van Bibber denied the allegations, according to the document.
Van Bibber claims the plaintiff caused him to incur $2,500 in improper and unnecessary fees to transfer unusable data from old software when it knew or should have known that the data was not correct or useful.
When the defendant complained about the charges, the plaintiff breached the agreement and refused to provide training or support to the defendant, according to the suit.
Bender is seeking compensatory damages with pre- and post-judgment interest. It is being represented by Clinton W. Smith
