CHARLESTON – A Kanawha County woman alleges that she was attacked and injured by an unrestrained dog.

Lori Brannon filed a complaint July 24 in Kanawha Circuit Court against North Park Partners LLC and Roger Green alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on June 2, she was seriously and permanently injured when she was attacked by defendant Green's unrestrained dog. She alleges she sustained laceration wounds to her left hand and fourth and fifth digits, nerve damage and cynophobia. The suit states Green was a tenant of North Park.

The plaintiff holds North Park Partners LLC and Roger Green responsible because defendant Green allegedly failed to properly restrain his dog and North Park allegedly allowed tenants to own vicious animals.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, plus interest, costs and expenses and such other just and proper relief. She is represented by Robert B. Warner and Christopher Schumacher of Warner Law Offices PLLC in Charleston. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Tod J. Kaufman.
