Contract 09

GRAFTON – A Grafton couple alleges an Ohio company provided less than adequate workmanship on their home.

D. Joseph Shaffer and Sonya S. Shaffer filed a complaint July 24 in Taylor Circuit Court against Storm Service Solutions LLC alleging breach of contract and negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on April 28, 2016, their home was damaged by a hailstorm and they contracted with the defendants two days later to repair the metal roof and siding.

The plaintiffs holds Storm Service Solutions LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to properly and completely secure the metal roof on the home, damaged the roof and failed to properly install other items.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek general damages, plus interest, attorney's fees, costs and expenses and such other equitable and appropriate relief. They are represented by T. Keith Gould of The Miley Legal Group in Clarksburg. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Alan D. Moats.
