Driver seeks damages after I-64 crash

Car accident 13

CHARLESTON – A motorist alleges that she was injured in a collision in Kanawha County.

Gina Snodgrass-Adkins filed a complaint on July 14 in the Kanawha Circuit Court against Sherman Richard Landers Jr. and Larry Goldizen Trucking LLC alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on July 23, 2015, she was traveling on Interstate 64 in Charleston when Landers Jr., who was driving a Larry Goldizen Trucking vehicle, collided with her vehicle.

The plaintiff holds Landers Jr. and Larry Goldizen Trucking, LLC responsible because the defendant Landers Jr. allegedly failed to keep a proper look out and failed to yield to the right of way.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory and punitive damages, interest, all legal fees and any other relief as the court deems just. She is represented by Chad D. Barry in Huntington. The case has been assigned to Circuit Court Judge Tod J. Kaufman.
