TNT Fireworks claims individual operating as United Christian Church failed to pay for goods

Contract 06

PRINCETON – An Alabama fireworks company alleges it was not paid for goods purchased by a West Virginia man.

American Promotional Events Inc., doing business as TNT Fireworks filed a complaint Aug. 7 in Mercer Circuit Court against Gary L. Heldreth, individually and trading as United Christian Church/Lighthouse Ministries, alleging breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the defendant submitted an organization credit application to the plaintiff in June 2016 to purchase goods that the defendant could then sell to the public.

The plaintiff holds Heldreth, individually and trading as United Christian Church/Lighthouse Ministries, responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to pay the plaintiff despite receiving the goods.

The plaintiff seeks $15,453.48 plus interest at the rate of 18 percent, attorney's fees of $2,318.02, and any other relief as this court deems just. It is represented by John R. Keating of Amato Keating and Lessa PC in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Derek C. Swope.
