Couple alleges home built by Trust Builders Inc. has numerous defects

BECKLEY – A Raleigh County couple alleges that a Daniels construction company breached its duty when building their home.

Paul W. Roop II and Tammy Lynn Linsky-Roop filed a complaint Aug. 7 in Raleigh Circuit Court against Trust Builders Inc. and Roger Gillespie alleging unfair and deceptive acts and practices, common law negligence, breach of contract and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that they hired the defendants to construct a home. The suit states that after moving into the home in June 2015, the plaintiffs discovered numerous defects with its construction. They allege that the cost of repairs, materials and labor has totaled $102,228.47. 

The plaintiffs seek actual damages, statutory damages, court costs, general damages, interest, and any further relief as the court grants. They are represented by Paul W. Roop II of Roop Law Office LC in Beckley. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Andrew Dimlich.
