WAYNE – A Kentucky woman alleges a West Virginia car dealer failed to disclose that the vehicle she purchased had previously been in an accident.
Lahoma Dillow filed a complaint July 20 in Wayne Circuit Court against River City Ford Inc. alleging misrepresentation and fraud.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that on Feb. 8, she purchased a used 2013 Lincoln MKZ from defendant for $25,061. The suit states she was told that the vehicle had never been in an accident. Shortly after purchase, she alleges she learned from an autobody shop that the vehicle had been in a major collision and had front end damage.
The plaintiff seeks compensatory and punitive damages, attorney's fees, costs and such other reasonable and just relief. She is represented by Timothy P. Rosinsky of Rosinsky Law Office in Huntington. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge James H. Young Jr.
