United Bank Inc. alleges loan for camper is in default

CHARLESTON – A Nitro resident is alleged to owe more than $16,000 on a loan.

United Bank Inc. filed a complaint on Aug. 3 in the Kanawha Circuit Court against Leslie H. Holstein alleging that the borrower failed to perform his contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges the defendant borrowed $28,499.98 from New Adventures RV in May 2012 to purchase a camper. The suit states the loan was later assigned to the plaintiff and that the defendant fell delinquent on his agreement. 

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in the sum of $16,476.83, pre- and post-judgment interest and costs of this action. It is represented by Andrew C. Woofter III of Andrew C. Woofter III PLLC in Parkersburg. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge James C. Stucky.
