PRINCETON –  A Mercer County man alleges that he has suffered injuries to his arm because of a physician's negligence.

Bernard Weese and Rachel Weese filed a complaint Oct. 4 in Mercer Circuit Court against Izhar Rana, M.D. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Bernard Weese was treated by the defendant in September 2015. He alleges that the defendant failed to undertake procedures to drain a hematoma in his arm, which led to permanent nerve damage in his arm.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendant for compensatory damages, interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by William S. Druckman and Madonna C. Estep of Law Offices of Druckman & Estep in Charleston. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Mark Wills.
