WHEELING – A Wheeling couple have filed suit against a Wheeling man and Verona company after a collision.

Sharon L. Ernes and James A. Ernes filed a complaint Oct. 12 in Ohio Circuit Court against Patrick Lloyd and Cleary Building Corp. alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, Sharon Ernes was injured when a 2012 Ford Taurus driven by Lloyd and owned by Cleary negligently collided with her vehicle. Sharon Ernes alleges she suffered bodily injuries, lost wages, medical expenses and pain and suffering and James Ernes alleges he suffered loss of consortium and services of his wife.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek compensatory damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney's fees, costs and all other relief as the court may deem just and proper. They are represented by Gregory A. Gellner of Gellner Law Offices in Wheeling. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge James P. Mazzone.
