Ohio County Development Authority alleged to owe more than $30,000 to Pennsylvania contractor

WHEELING – A Pennsylvania contractor claims a Triadelphia entity failed to pay it for construction services.

Franjo Construction Corp. filed a complaint Oct. 19 in Ohio Circuit Court against Ohio County Development Authority alleging breach of contract and quantum meruit/unjust enrichment.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that the plaintiff provided general construction services to defendant for the construction of Hotel Porte Cochere and Building TC-5 addition to Marriot Fairfield Inn & Suites located in Triadelphia in 2015. To date, the outstanding amount of $30,264.48 allegedly remains due and owing. 

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant in the amount of $30,264.48, with interest, costs, attorney's fees and any other appropriate relief. It is represented by Allen M. Lopus and Monica S. Walaan of Clark Hill PLC in Morgantown.
