CLD Rental Enterprises alleged to owe more than $200,000

BECKLEY – A Raleigh County company is alleged to have failed to make payments on a promissory note.

Branch Banking and Trust Co. filed a complaint Nov. 13 in Raleigh Circuit Court against CLD Rental Enterprises LLC, Munchies and More LLC, Happy Camper Inc. and David L. McDorman II alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff and CLD Rental Enterprises executed a promissory note in June 2016 for $215,000 that was guaranteed by the remaining defendants.

The plaintiff holds CLD Rental Enterprises LLC, Munchies and More LLC, Happy Camper Inc. and David L. McDorman, II responsible because the defendants allegedly breached their contractual agreement with the plaintiff by failing to make monthly payments in May and June.

The plaintiff seeks money judgment for the principal balance of $206,297.73, plus interest of $4,649.65, other charges of $3,654.01 court costs and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by Travis A. Knobbe of Spilman Thomas & Battle PLLC in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge H.L. Kirkpatrick III.
