Promised Land Properties alleged to owe more than $100,000 for loans

PRINCETON – A Mercer County business is alleged to have failed to pay back loans in full.

National Bank of Blacksburg filed a complaint in Mercer Circuit Court against Promised Land Properties LLC and Jason H. Mathis alleging failure to pay.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that in 2011, plaintiff loaned funds in three transactions to defendant Promised Land, which was guaranteed by defendant Mathis in the total amount of $312,500. To date, the balance amount of $109,702.67 allegedly remains unpaid. 

The plaintiff seeks payment for the unpaid amount of $109,702.67, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney's fees and costs. It is represented by William S. Winfrey II in Princeton. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Derek C. Swope.
