PRINCETON – A Princeton father and daughter allege a Dodge vehicle they purchased has defects in the transmission and are seeking a refund of the vehicle.

Stephen Croy and Laken Croy filed a complaint in Mercer Circuit Court against FCA US LLC and Ramey Motors Inc. alleging breach of warranty.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs purchased a 2013 Dodge Dart from Ramey Mothers in June 2013 for $27,137. They allege they have taken the vehicle in for repairs at least 11 times because of transmission issues.

The plaintiffs hold FCA US LLC and Ramey Motors Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed to repair the transmission issues.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek judgment against the defendants in an amount not less than $27,137, incidental and consequential damages of no less than $10,000, court costs, total damages and any further relief the court grants. They are represented by William O. Huffman of William O. Huffman in Princeton. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Derek C. Swope.
