Standard Distributing allegedly owes $10,000 for goods

CHARLESTON – A Charleston distributor is alleged to have failed to pay an invoice in full.

Kobrand Corp. filed a complaint Dec. 8 in Kanawha Circuit Court against Standard Distributing Inc. alleging breach of contract.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that at the request of defendant, plaintiff supplied certain goods to defendant at a fair and reasonable amount of $12,262. After receiving partial payment of $2,262, the balance of $10,000 allegedly remains due and owing. 

The plaintiff holds Standard Distributing Inc. responsible because the defendant allegedly failed and refused to pay the sum.

The plaintiff seeks judgment against defendant for $10,000 with accruing interest of 7 percent per annum, costs of suit and all other relief to which plaintiff is entitled. He is represented by John R. Keating of Amato Keating and Lessa PC in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge Carrie Webster.
