Car accident 22

WINFIELD – A Putnam County couple are seeking damages from a Kanawha County man after an auto accident in Hurricane.

Diane L. Burke and Thomas P. Burke filed a complaint in Putnam Circuit Court against Eric T. Cobb alleging negligence.

According to the complaint, the plaintiffs allege that on Dec. 30, 2015, Diane Burke was injured when the defendant caused his motor vehicle to collide with her vehicle on U.S. Route 60 in Hurricane. She alleges she sustained severe and permanent physical and mental injuries.

The plaintiffs hold Cobb responsible because the defendant allegedly negligently attempted to make a left-hand turn and failed to yield to oncoming traffic.

The plaintiffs request a trial by jury and seek compensatory damages, attorney's fees, costs and expenses for this action and such other just and proper relief. They are represented by Michael J. Del Giudice of Ciccarello, Del Giudice & LaFon in Charleston.
