Charleston attorney continues free Valentine’s Day divorce for 11th year

Law money 03

CHARLESTON – Charleston Attorney Charles R. “Rusty” Webb of The Webb Law Centre is continuing his tradition of offering a free divorce on Valentine’s Day to the person with the most compelling story.

Webb calls the divorce an “Independence Day” for the winner.

“Valentine’s Day isn’t always a happy day, at least for those stuck in an unhappy marriage,” he said.

The divorce is limited to an uncontested, no-fault divorce with no child custody issues. It is also limited to divorces with jurisdiction in West Virginia.

While the service is free, the winner will be responsible for all fees, costs and expenses associated with the divorce.

Current clients of Webb’s law firm are ineligible for the contest. The winner will be announced via press release on Feb. 14 by The Webb Law Centre.

Webb said they are putting the advertisement on Facebook again this year to hopefully reach more people.

“We’re a little late getting started this year, so we’re hoping to get the ad out to reach people this year,” Webb said.
