Equipment Transport safety supervisor alleges she was termianted over safety concerns

Wrongful term 11

NEW MARTINSVILLE – A Pine Grove woman alleges that she was terminated in retaliation over safety concerns.

Chrystal Dawn Price filed a complaint Jan. 29 in Wetzel Circuit Court against Equipment Transport LLC alleging wrongful discharge and other counts.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff was employed by the defendant as a night field safety supervisor. She alleges she complained about unsafe conditions and no action was taken and also claims she was treated differently because of her sex. The suit states she was terminated March 12, 2017.

The plaintiff holds Equipment Transport LLC responsible because the defendant allegedly terminated her in retaliation for her safety concerns.

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks compensatory damages, punitive damages, interest, court costs and any further relief the court grants. She is represented by Eric M. Hayhurst of Hayhurst Law PLLC in Morgantown. The case has been assigned to Circuit Judge David W. Hummel Jr.
