Food service business alleges Mexican restaurant owes more than $6,400

WHEELING — A food service company is suing owners of a Mexican restaurant in Wheeling, alleging failure to pay more than $6,400 for good ordered.

Gordon Food Service Inc. filed a complaint Feb. 28 in Ohio Circuit Court against E & E Restaurants LLC, doing business as La Grain Hacienda Mexican Restaurant, alleging failure to fulfill its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that beginning in 2016, Gordon Food plaintiff provided goods and services to La Grain Hacienda Mexican Restaurant on credit. After all proper credits for payments and returned merchandise, the suit says $6,497.84 remains due and owing. 

The plaintiff alleges La Grain Hacienda Mexican Restaurant has failed and refused to make payments for the amount due.

Gordon Food Services seeks trial by jury, judgment of $6,497.84, with interest, attorney fees of $1,299.47, court costs and all other just relief. It is represented by attorney Jerred P. Roth of Burton Neil & Associates PC in Mineral Wells.
