Goldsmit Sydnor alleges grocery business owes $84,000

HUNTINGTON — A Huntington grocery wholesaler is suing a grocery business, alleging breach of contract and owing more than $84,000.

Goldsmit Sydnor, Inc. filed a complaint in Cabell Circuit Court against Hoffman Grocery, Inc. doing business as Save-A-Lot of Hamlin and Save-a-Lot of St. Albans, and Terry G. Hoffman and Sherry L. Hoffman, alleging failure to pay the plaintiffs based on their contractual agreement.

According to the complaint, Goldsmit Sydnor was damaged financially due to the delinquencies of the defendants' account to which it gave a commercial credit extension. 

Goldsmit Syndor seeks trial by jury, judgment of $84,443.39, plus finance charges, court costs, interest and any further relief the court grants. It is represented by attorneys Arnold J. Janicker and Steven P. Turner of Jenkins Fenstermaker PLLC in Huntington.
