Wholesaler alleges Freeman convenience store owes more than $15,000

PRINCETON — A Princeton wholesaler is suing a Freeman convenience store, alleging failure to pay more than $15,000 for goods ordered.

Sterling Grocery Co. filed a complaint March 16 in Mercer Circuit Court against Riverside Pop Shop LLC, alleging the convenience store failed to perform contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, Sterling Grocery provided certain goods to Riverside Pop on credit. After allowance for all credits and returned merchandise, the suit says, the balance of $15,793.04 remains payable.

The plaintiff alleges Riverside Pop Shop has failed to pay the said amount upon demand.

Sterling Grocery seeks trial by jury, judgment of $15,793.04, with interest, attorney fees and all other proper and just relief. It is represented by attorney Eric J. Buckner of Katz, Kantor, Stonestreet & Buckner PLLC in Princeton.
