Wholesaler alleges Mercer County grocer owes $21,000

PRINCETON — A Princeton wholesaler is suing a Mercer County grocery, alleging failure pay more than $21,000 for purchased product.

Sterling Grocery Co. filed a complaint March 27 in Mercer Circuit Court against M & C Market LLC and Milam D. Fowler, alleging failure to perform their contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, Sterling Grocery provided certain goods and merchandise to the defendants on credit. After proper credits for payments, $21,213.32 remains payable. The plaintiff alleges the defendants have failed to pay the amount upon demand.

Sterling Grocery seeks trial by jury, judgment of $21,213.32, pre- and post-judgment interest, attorney fees and all other just and proper relief. It is represented by attorney Eric J. Buckner of Katz, Kantor, Stonestreet & Buckner PLLC in Princeton.
