HUNTINGTON — A Wayne County woman is suing Cabell County health care providers, alleging insufficient measures were taken to prevent injuries.

Crystal Mills filed a complaint in Cabell Circuit Court against Radiology Inc., Dr. Allen Young and Dr. Roger Blake, alleging they negligently deviated from the appropriate standards of medical care.

According to the complaint, on May 16, 2015, Mills was presented to the defendants for her injuries of her left ankle and foot. As a result of the defendants' negligence, the suit says, Mills has suffered great pain of body and mind, mental anguish, physical limitations, medical expenses and lost wages.

The plaintiff alleges the defendants failed to diagnose the fracture on Mills' left ankle and foot and failed to properly review the X-ray.

Mills seeks trial by jury, all damages, pre- and post-judgment interest, court costs, attorney fees and all other remedies available. She is represented by attorney Richard W. Weston of Weston Robertson Law in Huntington.
