Gas equipment distributor alleges Dunlow Volunteer Fire Department owes $8,000

WAYNE — A gas and equipment distributor is suing a Wayne County fire department, alleging failure to pay for goods and services.

Airgas USA LLC filed a complaint May 9 in Wayne Circuit Court against Dunlow Volunteer Fire Department Inc., alleging failure to perform its contractual obligations.

According to the complaint, between 2016 and 2017, Airgas provided products and equipment to the fire department on credit. To date, the suit says, the amount of $8,456.86 remains payable. 

The plaintiff alleges Dunlow Volunteer Fire Department has failed to pay for the products and equipment provided by the plaintiff.

Airgas USA seeks trial by jury, judgment of $8,456.86, plus interest, attorney fees, court costs and all appropriate relief. It is represented by attorney Ryan S. Marsteller of Bailes, Craig & Yon PLLC in Huntington.
