CHARLESTON — Charleston is suing a Kanawha County business, alleging failure to pay more than $28,000.

The City of Charleston filed a complaint May 15 in Kanawha Circuit Court against NAJ LLC, alleging violation of the West Virginia Code.

After payment of $91.86, the suit says, the balance amount of $28,500.65 remains due and owing. The plaintiff alleges NAJ has failed to make payments for the said amount.
