WINFIELD — A Putnam County camper owner is suing Progressive, alleging breach of an insurance contract.

Joel Conley filed a complaint in Putnam Circuit Court against Progressive Classic Insurance Company, alleging failure to pay for damages to his camper.

According to the complaint, Conley's 2006 Cardinal Forest River Camper was inured by Progressive. During the policy period, the camper was damaged due to water infiltration caused by a windstorm.

Conley says he timely filed a claim for the loss to Progressive. The plaintiff says Progressive Classic Insurance improperly denied coverage to his claim and refused to pay the policy proceeds to which he is entitled.

Conley seeks trial by jury, judgment sufficient to compensate his loss, pre- and post-judgment interest, costs and all other just and proper relief. He is represented by attorney Thomas H. Peyton of Peyton Law Firm PLLC in Nitro.
