Convenience store owes more than $17,000, lawsuit says

WHEELING — A Huntington convenience store faces a lawsuit for allegedly not paying a distribution company.

Chas M. Sledd Company, which operates Team Sledd Inc., filed a complaint in Ohio Circuit Court against US Gas and Food LLC, parent company of U.S. Food Mart, and owner Batwinder Singh.

According to the complaint, the defendants owe more than $17,000 for goods and merchandise sold by the plaintiff. 

The plaintiff requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment against defendant in the amount of $17,435.94, plus interest and costs of suit. They are represented by Arch W. Riley Jr. of Bernstein-Burkey PC in Wheeling.
