LOGAN — A motorist is suing a vehicle owner, alleging negligence led to a rear-end collision.

Frank Codispoti filed a complaint in Logan Circuit Court against Pride Community Services Inc., alleging the vehicle owner's employee failed to operate the defendant's vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.

According to the complaint, on Jan. 23, Codispoti was driving in Logan County when he stopped to make a left turn. The suit says his vehicle was struck from the rear by a Pride Community vehicle driven by its employee.

Codispoti says he sustained injuries to his neck and back and sustained medical expenses and pain and suffering. The plaintiff alleges Pride Community Services's employee failed to observe others vehicle on the road and failed to stop or swerve to avoid colliding with the plaintiff's vehicle.

Codispoti seeks trial by jury, judgment against the defendant that will fairly and fully compensate him for his injuries and damages, plus interest and costs. He is represented by attorney Donald C. Wadling of Wandling Law Office LC in Logan.
