BOWLES RICE: Bowles Rice Welcomes Two New Attorneys

Bowles Rice issued the following announcement on Sept. 21.

Bowles Rice is pleased to welcome two new attorneys to the firm: Andrea McCardle and Anthony Giresi.

A practicing attorney since 2007, Andrea McCardle focuses her work on oil and gas, certified title opinions and real estate. Her experience includes drafting title opinions for mineral interests in West Virginia, Pennsylvania and Ohio; representing clients in oil and gas lease litigation; and handling real estate title matters. Admitted to practice in West Virginia and Pennsylvania, she joins the firm’s Morgantown office.

McCardle earned her law degree from the West Virginia University College of Law. She also earned her master’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry and Consumer Science and her bachelor’s in Agribusiness Management and Rural Development from West Virginia University.

Anthony Giresi is also an energy attorney focused on certified title opinions and oil and gas work. Admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, he joins the firm’s office in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

Prior to joining Bowles Rice, Giresi was a managing member and crew chief for a Mid-Ohio Valley land services company, where his responsibilities included division order title opinions, title abstracts and due diligence in leasing and drilling efforts. A registered professional landman, he also he managed multimillion-dollar oil and gas lease acquisition and exchange projects and ran surface and mineral title abstracts.

Giresi earned his law degree in 2011 from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he was an Executive Editor of the Notre Dame Journal of International and Comparative Law. He earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, in Political Science with a concentration in Ethics of Politics and Law from Villanova.
