CHARLESTON — A licensed insurer is suing A & B Logging LLC, for an alleged breach of contract and unjust enrichment.
Brickstreet Mutual Insurance Company filed a complaint on Aug. 13, in the Kanawha Circuit Court against A & B Logging LLC for failing to pay its insurance premium, according to court documents.
According to the complaint, the plaintiff alleges that, between June 13, 2017 and July 27, 2017, the plaintiff provided the defendant with workers' compensation and employer's liability insurance in the amount of $25,484, for which the defendant allegedly refuses to pay the premium. The plaintiff has suffered actual damages, plus other consequential and incidental damages.
Brickstreet Mutual Insurance Company requests a trial by jury and seeks judgment in its favor for the sum of $25,484, plus interest, and other just and proper relief. It is represented by Arnold J. Janicker and Steven P. Turner of Jenkins Fenstermaker PLLC in Huntington.
