North Carolina corporation alleges St. Albans home inspection business owes $13,000

CHARLESTON — A North Carolina corporation is suing a St. Albans home inspection business, alleging breach of contract in failing to pay more than $13,000.

Eurofins CEI Inc., doing business as CEI Labs Inc. of Cary, North Carolina, filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Best Home Inspection LLC, alleging failure to pay for goods and services ordered.

According to the complaint, CEI Labs provided goods, funds or services to Best Home in the amount of $13,059. To date, the suit says, these amounts remain due and owing. 

The plaintiff alleges Best Home Inspection has failed to pay for the goods, funds or services provided by CEI despite agreeing to do so.

CEI Labs seeks trial by jury, judgment of $13,059, interest, costs, fees and all other just and proper relief. It is represented by attorney Clinton W. Smith of Charleston.
