WINFIELD — An Ohio chiropractor is suing a fellow chiropractor from Putnam County, alleging breach of an agreement.

Dr. Levi Merritt of Chesapeake, Ohio, filed a complaint in Putnam Circuit Court against Dr. Holly Ann Garrison, alleging failure to make payments of $29,000 toward her purchase.

According to the complaint, in August 2016, Garrison agreed to purchase Merritt's Merritt Chiropractic Inc. in Scott Depot for $29,000 and further agreed to make monthly payments of $392.28 over eight years.

To date, the suit says, the said amounts remain unpaid. The plaintiff alleges Garrison took possession of all the items in the purchase and utilized them without making any payments.

Merritt seeks trial by jury, judgment of $29,000, plus costs, interest, attorney fees and all other just and proper relief. He is represented by attorneys Gary A. Matthews and Steven P. Turner of Jenkins Fenstermaker PLLC in Huntington.
