CHARLESTON — Two Cross Lanes customers are suing a roofing contractor, alleging negligence and breach of warranties.

Cynthia Vallaeu and Susan Mullen filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against ANR Construction Inc., alleging failure to install roofing materials correctly.

According to the complaint, on Aug. 27, 2015, Vallaeu and Mullen contracted ANR Construction for the installation of a roof on their property at 111 Glass Drive in Cross Lanes for $7,700. Shortly after, the suit says, the roof began to leak, causing Vallaeu and Mullen to suffer diminution of value and loss of enjoyment of their property.

The plaintiffs allege ANR Construction, despite its promise to repair the damage, has failed to make any corrections or repairs.

Vallaeu and Mullen seek trial by jury, damages of more than $25,000 and all other just relief. They are represented by attorney Erika Klie Kolenich of Klie Law Offices PLLC in Buckhannon.
