BECKLEY — A Putnam County motorist is suing a Wyoming County construction company and employee, alleging negligence in causing a vehicle crash.

Kerry Hamilton filed a complaint in Raleigh Circuit Court against Bradford Brothers Asphalt and Construction Company and David Tucker, alleging they breached the care owed to the plaintiff and other persons on the roadway.

According to the complaint, on Sept. 28, 2016, Hamilton was injured in an auto collision when a Bradford Brothers vehicle driven by Tucker struck the rear of the plaintiff's vehicle on Coal River Road in Naoma. Hamilton says he sustained injuries and incurred medical expenses and other economic and non-economic damages.

The plaintiff alleges Tucker failed to operate his vehicle in a careful and prudent manner.

Hamilton seeks trial by jury, judgment for his injuries and damages sustained, plus interest, court costs and fees and all other lawful relief. He is represented by attorney Truman C. Griffith of Warner Law Offices PLLC in Charleston.
