CHARLESTON — A Kanawha County woman is suing Bob Evans Restaurant, alleging negligence led to injuries for the plaintiff.

Georgia Ann Mallory filed a complaint in Kanawha Circuit Court against Bob Evans Farms LLC and Bob Evans Restaurant LLC, alleging failure to maintain the restaurant's premises in a reasonably safe condition.

According to the complaint, on Oct. 21, 2016, Mallory was injured at the defendants' Bob Evans Restaurant in South Charleston when she slipped on a greasy slippery substance on the floor.

She says she sustained tremendous pain and suffering, embarrassment, inconvenience as well as other damages. The plaintiff alleges Bob Evans Farms and Bob Evans Restaurant failed to timely clean the greasy slippery substance on the floor and failed to barricade the area or to provide adequate warning.

Mallory seeks trial by jury, judgment that will sufficiently compensate her for her damages, court costs and all other relief. She is represented by attorney Lynnette Simon Marshall of Warner Law Offices PLLC in Charleston.
